State Street is seeking a DLP Platforms Technical Support for our Security Platforms team, which is part of the State Street Cyber Fusion Centre. This team designs, manages, and supports the security tools which enable security operations across State Street. These tools are critical to State Street’s Cyber security, enabling threat detection, incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability management, and other key functions. This is a priority role in a growing team, with multiple positions to be filled. Preferred locations are Ireland (Dublin, Kilkenny, or remote) or United States (MA, or remote).

Who are we looking for

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Platforms Technical Support team member to join our Security Platforms team. In this role, you will assist in the monitoring, maintenance, and support of our DLP platforms thus ensuring the protection of sensitive data across the enterprise. You will work closely with senior team members to troubleshoot platform and agent issues and provide technical support to end-users. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in data security and DLP technologies.

What you will be responsible for

Acting as the first point of contact for DLP platform related support requestsMonitoring logs, alerts and performing routine checks and updates to ensure the DLP platforms are functioning optimallyMaintaining accurate documentation of DLP platform support procedures and configurationsProviding technical support to end-users regarding DLP toolsWorking with key stakeholders and vendors to implement new or additional DLP capabilities to enhance our risk-driven data protectionTuning and upgrading system components, following internal testing and change management processesContributing to projects that improve current capabilities, drive adoption, and enable future growthPartnering within the Cyber Fusion Centre teams to ensure our security platforms meet operational needs, within DLP Program Operations, Insider Threat and Incident response

What we value

Foundational Cyber security knowledge, with experience in DLP and Endpoint Security toolingExposure to, and knowledge of enterprise DLP platforms eg Symantec DLP, Digital Guardian Endpoint DLP, ProofPoint, Microsoft PurviewStrong foundational skills supporting platforms running on Microsoft Windows Server and Linux Operating SystemsUnderstanding and working knowledge of current data protection, information security and cyber security practices and techniques would be advantageousA collaborative approach to solving technical challenges and improving securityA desire to learn, combined with a collaborative working style and strong personal work ethicExperience in a 24/7 security operations environment, emphasising reliability and system availabilityExperience in distributed, international teams would be beneficial

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, cybersecurity, or a related field. A degree is not required for this role, but a qualification in information security or information systems may be beneficialSecurity certifications may be beneficial (e.g., CompTIA CASP+, GSEC or similar, relevant product certifications)Experience in financial services may be beneficial

Additional Requirements

These roles may be filled in Ireland (Dublin or Kilkenny preferred, or remote) or United States (MA preferred, or remote)This team supports 24/7 operations which may require weekend work.

Salary Range:

$70,000 - $115,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
