🕒 Schedule:
Team 1: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (1 position available)
Team 2: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (1 position available)
💰 Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour
We are seeking a hardworking and detail-oriented DNB Tech I – Doffer Mill to support our textile operations. This role is essential in transporting yarn, loading/unloading knitting machines, and maintaining beam racks. If you enjoy hands-on work in a manufacturing environment, apply today!
Key Responsibilities:Material Handling & Machine Operation✔️ Transport yarn to knitting machines.
✔️ Use power industrial trucks to move full beams from the warehouse to the staging area.
✔️ Remove full beams from beam racks and place them on buggies when needed.
✔️ Return empty beams to the warehouse and install new empty beams into beam racks.
✔️ Load and unload knitting machines using a bridge crane or gantry.
✔️ Climb onto machines to attach hoists to beam shafts and remove/replace beams.
✔️ Loosen saddle clamps and lift beams off machines safely.
✔️ Remove shafts from empty beams and insert them into full beams.
✔️ Lubricate machine parts as required.
✔️ Perform daily inspections on lift trucks and report any defects.
✔️ Repair defective beam shafts and clamps when possible.
✔️ Ensure vehicles and equipment are properly serviced and maintained.
✔️ Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
✔️ Maintain a clean and organized work area.
✔️ Foster safe work habits and proper handling techniques.
✔️ Use Lockout/Tagout procedures when necessary.
📌 Experience & Education:
High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.
Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or textile environment preferred.
📌 Technical & Physical Abilities:
Ability to read and interpret specifications, safety rules, and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Ability to work independently and follow specific instructions.
Physically able to handle beam shafts (with assistance) and hang warps.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay Details: $18.75 per hour
