Responsibilities:
Adhere to Terex safety policies and procedures
Follow and promote The Terex Way Values
Moving, stocking, receiving, and packing outbound warehouse merchandise
Operate warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks
Read and interpret blueprints and order acknowledgment
Properly crate and protect materials using hand and power tool
Work with Replacement Part orders, shipping instructions and regulations
Understand types of fixtures to use for picking and moving each type of product
Understand DOT rules and regulations for transport of all types of loads on highways
Maintain clean work area and participate in 5s standards
Troubleshoot basic issues and problems
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
0-2 years of manufacturing experience
Able to lift up to 40 lbs and 40-100 lbs with assistance of others or lifting equipment provided
Preferred Qualification:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and order acknowledgment.
Basic computer skills
Certified to drive a forklift or have the skills to obtain certification and perform maintenance checks each use
1 to 2 years’ experience in related fields preferred
Prepare bills of lading and shipping reports
Check off shipments and observe truck loading operations, bracing and securing of loads to insure safe arrival
Interpret order acknowledgment as to ship loose bill of material
Understand the procedure for chaining and securing the units to the trailer for safe and damage free transport to the end customer
Be able to perform these duties in all types of weather
Certified Welder preferred, but not required
The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $21.50 per hour.
