WHAT YOU CAN EXPECTWe are looking for a scientist as PhD candidate for the duration of 36 months to contribute to a three-year German federal government funded research project on centralized agronomic master data management and interoperability. Within our global Digital Farming unit, you are responsible for the scientific research, conceptional data design and the project management support of a federally funded research project.
As doctoral student, you conduct the scientific research in the respective federal funded research project in agronomic master data management and interoperability. Furthermore, you are responsible for the conceptional definition of required agronomic data taking into consideration the particular importance of master data and semantic meaning as key for interoperability. You model rules for the technical identification and lifecycle management of field-related data. You develop concepts and solutions for a practical data exchange between stakeholders in the digital agronomic environment. Last but not least, you participate in the on-ground testing of the developed data and interoperability solutions together with project partners and farmers.
