**Job Description**
**Job Summary:**
Collects, maintains and distributes all documents necessary to define product configuration and control manufacturing processes that insure conformance to customer requirements. Maintains a comprehensive filing system and computer database for all documents to be retained in the document control center. Administers the operation of the document control center to ensure that all users have the latest revision of appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Tasks and assignments tend to be general but may involve complex and/or non-routine assignments. Duties are performed under limited supervision. Administers the Customer parts lists/approved vendor listing into the ERP system.

+ Examines documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
+ Confers with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compiles required changes to documents.
+ Posts changes to computerized or manual control records, releases documents, and notifies affected departments.
+ Maintains a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.
+ Maintains the customer parts list for accuracy including implementing into ERP system
**Requirements:**
2-5 years of experience in a clerical and/or administrative support role; Certificate in a specialized function or College Degree in related field may be required depending on job function, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
