DESCRIPTION:
Tutor Perini Corporation is looking for a Document Control Coordinator who processes administrative, engineering, and construction documents and ensures accuracy and timeliness of all project communication. Additionally, the coordinator assists with daily operational and support services for project personnel. This includes performing clerical and administrative support tasks that include, but are not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist in preparing various transmittals including submittals, requests for information, and notifications.
· Assist in preparing correspondence between company and various entities including subcontractors and clients. Ensures documents are maintained correctly.
· Assign proper file index to all incoming/outgoing documents. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all controlled documents. Maintain files as required.
· Assist in maintaining proper work procedures and document flow. Compile various weekly and monthly reports.
· Assist in updating drawings, specifications, and other documents in the project folder.
· Perform copying and printing functions as required by work conditions.
· Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Minimum 2 – 4 years general business experience.
· High school diploma and pursuit of Associates level business education (or higher) preferred.
· Detail oriented and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of business machines and office procedures plus ability to organize and implement document control systems required.
· Proficient utilizing computers and experience using computer software including Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity and ability to learn new systems including Prolog, Procore, and other construction related software preferred.
· General knowledge of construction documents and interest in the construction industry preferred.
Expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 depending on experience.
