Stantec is searching for a dynamic Document Control Lead to join our Program Management and Construction Management (PMCM) team. If you have at least eight years of experience in a document control and support role, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to lead, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. **Your Key Responsibilities** + Provide support to project management and team members to adhere to client standards, Stantec required procedures and document management. + Manage, lead, and support establishment of the document controls capability including processes, systems and procedures for a project. + Support using standard or designated systems to store documents and to track communications and edits related to them for the project. + Provide oversight in migration of documents between document management systems, including interfacing with internal and external stakeholders. + Prepare process and status reports as well as assign and monitor document numbers. + Establish a process for reviewing submitted documents to ensure accuracy and completeness (metadata) in compliance with document control procedures. + Maintain the document control systems for the project. + Support document control staff including training in practical application of systems. + Provide support to project management and team members to adhere to standards, required procedures and document management. + Manage planning, preparation, and implementation of document control processes and systems for project requirements. + Perform other related work as required. **Qualifications** **Your Capabilities and Credentials** + Strong communication and interpersonal skills. + Solid written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments. + Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat. + Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) experience. + Able to successfully work both collaboratively and independently. + Prior experience working on large infrastructure programs is an asset. + Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team. **Education and Experience** + Technical degree, diploma or certificate in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. + Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a project documentation control role. + Experience in an engineering and/or construction environment. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
