POSITION SUMMARY: MPLX is seeking a Document Control Supervisor to oversee MPLX’s Document Control department. The supervisor will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day activities of the Document Control team, associated support programs and will play an important leadership role in ensuring safe, compliant, reliable operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: + Leads team of document control analysts to deliver internal and external work and support commitments. + Oversees documentation discovery, categorization, digitization and entry into the corporate document management system and integrated systems. + Develops and maintains departmental standard operating procedures and associated workflows to ensure team compliance with federal, state and local requirements. + Provides acquisition and divestiture coordination and support. + Acts as subject matter expert to support data governance activities and key initiatives. + Coordinates drafting workload assignments to provide accurate reporting on team production and performance. + Manages project management software to support active projects. + Visits new and existing assets to locate documentation (paper and electronic) and facilitate the gathering of information, indexing, scanning, transfer, and storage to ensure all technical and regulatory information is obtained per the corporate records retention schedule. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: + Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. + Five (5) years of oil and gas document control experience required, midstream preferred. + Experience in technical writing required. + Leadership experience preferred.
