Document Control Program Manager position reporting into the Global Product Release and Change Management Team. The primary focus of this role is to lead document control activities, support strategic project deliveries, drive continuous improvement and support tactical activities of wider change management team.
Additional duties of this role will be to efficiently and accurately process requests related to new product releases, change requests, documentation releases, and other types of requests, ensuring compliance to global policies, Quality Management System and ISO standards.

As our Document Control Program Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 
•    Leading the management and optimization of global operational document control applications to ensure efficiency and compliance.
•    Creating, maintaining, and delivering comprehensive training materials and job aids for core document control applications, enhancing user proficiency and adoption.
•    Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in document control standards and applications, implementing best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
•    Collaborating with various functional teams across operations, legal, HR, It and others to define an uphold global document control standards.
•    Partnering with senior stakeholders to define and implement best practice standards, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
•    Collaborating with upstream and downstream stakeholders to effectively process requests in accordance with corporate documentation standards.
•    Acting as a facilitator to ensure new document and product related document release requests are accurately completed and compliant across all applications.
•    Evaluating documents and change orders to ensure compliance with global corporate documentation standards, compliant with ISO requirements and quality management system requirements.
•    Ensuring comprehensive support for both internal and external audits related to document control, maintaining compliance and readiness.
•    Assisting with processing, approval routing, and expediting change orders through Document Management and PLM systems, ensuring timely and accurate documentation flow.
•    Reviewing internal policies and procedure documents for proper corporate formatting, ensuring consistency and adherence to standards.
•    Taking on related functional projects as assigned, contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the department.

 

Your Experience and Background include:  
•    Ideally, a degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
•    Minimum of 4 years of experience with ConvergePoint or other document management systems.
•    At least 4 years of experience in document control, specifically for corporate policies and procedures, engineering product documentation, and product release and change management activities.
•    Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality management, with a strong understanding of ISO 9001 standards
•    Experience with ConvergePoint, Agile PLM and Oracle EBS systems is preferred.
