The Document Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining all quality assurance documentation within our food manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all documents are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulatory requirements and company standards.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop, organize, and maintain quality assurance documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality manuals.Ensure all documents are reviewed, approved, and distributed in a timely manner.Maintain document control systems to ensure the integrity and security of all quality-related documents.Collaborate with QA, production, and other departments to ensure documentation reflects current practices and procedures.Conduct regular audits of documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.Assist in the preparation of documentation for regulatory inspections and audits.Provide training and support to staff on document control procedures and best practices.Continuously improve document management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control or quality assurance within the food manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of document control systems and practices.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management software.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
