Job Summary:
The Document controller is responsible for administering and maintaining the company’s-controlled documents, records in accordance with company requirements
Duties & Responsibilities:
Administration of the document control system to include: Controlling quality records. Compiling data and generating requested reports. Scanning Quality Records. Photocopying Quality Records. Filing and moving Quality Records as defined on SOP-1002. Send and Receive DHRs from External Storage as defined on SQP-1027. Check outs/Check in of Quality Records at the Document Control area. Manage DHRs request from Mexicali Compliance department. Manage ticket system for records and documents requested. Understand and follow company rules and regulations. Perform all other duties consistent with the position as assigned or required Any reasonable task assigned by Superior from time to timeMinimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
3 years experiences and ability to read and understand general correspondence, periodicals, and procedures. Experience working on a team within a document control or quality department. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Must be independent worker, who is flexible and adaptablePreferred Qualifications:
Microsoft office knowledge Experience using photocopy machine, label printers, optical scanners and optical readers. Computer skills and experience working with spreadsheets, word processors, and database programs.Education:
SPM/Professional Certificate / Diploma or equivalent is required. Additional training in change control and change requests is preferred.
Physical requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
