Document Controller
**Job Posting: Entry-Level Document Controller / Drafter** **Location** : Downtown Houston, TX **Schedule** : Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM **Pay** : $19 - $22 per hour (DOE) **Position Overview** : We are seeking a dedicated and organized Entry-Level Document Controller / Drafter to join our clients team in Downtown Houston. In this role, you will be responsible for managing digital formats and performing basic drafting duties. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly learn new software tools. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment and is eager to contribute to the efficiency of document management processes. **Key Responsibilities** : + Verify the accuracy of scanned documents, ensuring they match the original hard copies (QA/QC). + Index and categorize scanned documents for easy retrieval. + Operate scanning equipment and utilize network folder archives. + Make minor drafting changes using basic AutoCAD software. + Perform additional administrative and/or drafting duties as assigned. **Position Requirements** : + Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a professional office environment. + Knowledge of pipeline drafting is a plus. + Familiarity with Document Management Systems is a plus. + Proficient with AutoCAD software and Windows operating systems. + Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. + Punctual, dependable, and eager to learn. **Working Conditions** : + Work will be performed in an office cubicle/print room scanner environment. + Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time. + Position may require the lifting of up to 25 lbs.
