The Enterprise Information Management Thales in the Netherlands is looking for an experienced Document Manager to further professionalize document management within Thales Netherlands.

About the teams
EIM

The Enterprise Information Management (EIM) team is a central team facilitating centralized data and document management of the Thales Netherlands organisation. The team consists of different data experts who deliver relevant and adequate data and information solutions in close collaboration with business stakeholders.


About the job
You will join an overarching working group of people different department for further professionalizing document management of Thales Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement robust document management strategies to ensure efficient creation, storage, retrieval, and disposal of organizational documents.Oversee the document management process, ensuring that changes to documents and templates are accurately recorded, distributed and controlled.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enhance document management workflows, maintaining a seamless integration with other Thales processes.Evaluate and select document management tools and technologies, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements.Establish and enforce document management best practices, providing training to team members and stakeholders as needed.Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of document repositories.Interface with internal and external auditors to demonstrate compliance with document management requirements.Act as a key point of contact for document-related queries, providing expertise and support to various departments.Collaborate with Business Improvement, Quality and IT teams to implement and optimize document management systems, addressing technical challenges and ensuring system reliability.

About you

As a person you are a communicator, friendly, able to make a rapport with people, loyal and trustworthy. You have strong analytical and stakeholder management skills. You are able to quickly grasp the big picture and dive into details where needed. You are a quick learner and willing to learn and improve constantly. You can act independently, but also join in the team efforts as a team-player.

Furthermore, you have:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.Several years of experience in similar positions.Proven experience in document managementIn-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to document management.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Experience selecting, implementing, and optimizing document management systems.Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends.Project management skills, with a track record of successfully managing complex initiatives.Certification in document management is a plus.Have a good proficiency in English, both verbally and written.
