GDIT is seeking a Documentum Technical Lead to work closely with USPS management on the upgrade, installation, and customization of Documentum software across USPS applications.  The Documentum Technical Lead will have in-depth understanding and experience with the vendor (OpenText) and know the product (Documentum fundamentals, Documentum interfaces Webtop and D2, and Captiva) or previously worked with a company/customer who was a power-user of Documentum.

HOW A DOCUMENTUM TECHNICAL LEAD WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Researches, designs, develops, tests, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software.Analyzes user/business software system requirements and determines needs.Determine the functionality of an application and performs upgrades over time.Maintains documentation to support software development policies, standards, and procedures.Assist team with preparation of cost estimates.Performs highly specialized technical tasks associated with cutting-edge technologies.Applies expert functional knowledge and experience to significant business projects or processes.Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.Participates in special projects as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline (preferred but not required). In lieu of degree, then an additional four years of relevant work experience is required.

Required Experience:

8+ years of software development experience

Required Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in DevSecOpsExpert with:   OpenText Documentum SoftwareApache Tomcat EnvironmentLinux/UNIX OSKnowledge/experience of SDLC practicesEffective liaison leading technical development teamsKnowledge/experience with Agile MethodologiesDemonstrated ability with Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)Demonstrated skill in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)

Security Clearance Level:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprintingThis position has a U.S. residency requirement. The USPS security clearance process requires the selected candidate to have resided in the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for the last five years as follows: U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 6 months consecutively in the last 3 years (unless they meet certain exceptions). Non-U.S. Citizens cannot have left the U.S. (including U.S. Territories) for longer than 90 days consecutively in the last 3 years.
