What You Will Do:
The DoD Executive position supports Guidehouse’s Defense & Security Sector. This person will bring depth of experience and advise on a range of mission-related issues on existing engagements and new pursuits focused on Engineering and Weapons Systems within the Department of Defense. This role will be a combination of engagement delivery, new opportunity pursuit with a strong emphasis on thought leadership. The role will seek to find the intersections between various mission related needs and professional services solutions.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Engaging with senior executives to analyze and understand business initiatives
Develop and grow a business portfolio supporting Major Weapon System Programs
Engage with internal and external partners to develop collaborative environments in support of deliverables
Foster external relationships and brand awareness across industries
What You Will Need:
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET or higher security clearance
A bachelor's degree
TWENTY (20) or more years' relevant experience directly supporting DoD, Federal Government, and/or Professional Services engineering deliveries
Experience engaging with senior leaders within the Department of Defense and federal government
Experience identifying, solving, and delivering engineering/technology solutions
Strong communications acumen in support of client engagement and briefing
Experience translating policy into programmatic actions
Knowledge of Defense industry missions and initiatives
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET security clearance or higher
Graduate degree or higher
Experience supporting DoD weapons systems clients
Experience delivering within an organization of similar or larger size and scope
