CACI has an outstanding opportunity for an Operations Schedule Lead who wants to make a difference in the defense of the nation by applying their tradecraft and experience in a fast-paced environment in support of the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).  We are seeking a motivated individual to join an innovative and dynamic team that is developing mission critical solutions for the warfighter.

What You’ll Get to Do

Primary responsibility is to collaborate with assistant program managers, project managers, and the engineering team to develop schedules and manage execution of respective project plans.  The technical solutions we develop, integrate, and deliver provide essential capabilities for the warfighter to execute their responsibilities for manned and unmanned platforms.  Furthermore, these systems contribute to larger systems of system objectives where 2nd- and 3rd-tier customers reside.  These schedules and project plans will drive the development, integration, fielding, and prioritization of advanced capabilities relative to system modernization efforts, novel tasks, and digital transformation activities.

Develop project- and portfolio-level schedules that are resource balanced using the performance work statement (PWS), WBS, SOW, and feedback from assistant program managers, project managers and technical leadsExperience with applications of industry accepted planning and scheduling best practices and principlesFamiliar with cost and schedule risk analysisAnalyze baseline schedules relative to critical path methodologyDevelop and monitor multiple project schedules that will lead technical development efforts and provide guidance relative to prioritization of technical capabilitiesDisseminate and present schedules to sponsors to verify they are tracking progress of their respective project and address feedback receivedAnalytical and troubleshooting skillset with an understanding of external dependenciesAbility to work in a high-paced and dynamic environmentUse analytics to identify and report on project trendsEffectively resource balance schedules for use of project executionAnalyze the actual work performed against the proposed planEvaluate and communicate the impact of changes to the scheduleAssess current execution processes and recommend improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness of task executionResponsible for special projects and other duties as assigned

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

US CitizenActive Secret clearanceUndergraduate degree in business, economics, or engineering fieldExcellent written and verbal skillsStrong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)Proven success in developing schedules and project plans to lead mission execution7+ years of experience in planning and scheduling7+ years with resource loading scheduling and its interface into traditional critical path methodology

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

Master’s degree in business, economics, or engineering fieldActive TS/SCI clearance7+ years of experience collaborating with management and engineering lead to develop plans and schedules7+ years of experience in generating schedule deliverables and implementation of critical path methodology7+ years collaborating with sponsors relative to planning and scheduling needs as well as presenting the information to the respective sponsor

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$82,100 - 172,400 USD
