Intelligent Waves is a certified DOD SkillBridge Provider and is always willing to work with transitioning military personnel who are qualified for the SkillBridge Program. We entertain applications for both our Corporate, and DOD & IC contract opportunities wherever our Federal customers allow us to do so. The internships will be awarded on a case-by-case basis, depending on both the Federal customer's approval and Intelligent Waves' ability to provide a quality SkillBridge internship experience for the transitioning military personnel. All interns are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols. Responsibilities Overall Requirements: In order to qualify for the SkillBridge Program, the transitioning person will need to meet the following: 1. Must be within 180 days of separating from service. 2. Must have completed 180 days of service and be eligible for the program. 3. Must be approved by Intelligent Waves for the internship. 3. Must submit a SkillBridge Application for screening and approval by an O-4 or above in the applicant's chain of command at least 30 days prior to the start of the internship. Roles and Responsibilities: Once the basic requirements listed above have been met, the applicant will need to coordinate with Intelligent Waves to confirm a start date and end date for the internship period. If required for the position, the SkillBridge Intern must hold the proper level security clearance and be approved by the customer for the internship. Qualifications Requirements: This is a general SkillBridge Application site only. Each individual applicant will be reviewed and considered individually. This will be based upon several criteria: Your military experience and how it aligns with the internship position. Your civilian experience and how it aligns with the internship position. The Federal customer's approval for your internship on the contract. Intelligent Waves' ability to provide you with an appropriate internship experience as outlined by the SkillBridge Program MOU. A completed and approved SkillBridge Application will need to be submitted and on file with Intelligent Waves in order to begin your internship. This will be required once a specific internship opportunity has been identified for you, you've been interviewed and approved for it, and we've received the approved Application from your commanding officer. If required for the position, the SkillBridge Intern must hold the proper level security clearance and be approved by the customer for the internship.
