DOD Supply Chain Manager - Security Clearance Required

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for a DOD Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team.

This position is located on-site in - Hamilton, Washington State

POSITION DESCRIPTION 

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented DOD Supply Chain Manager to join our Supply Chain team. As the DOD Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing, evaluating and processing all property asset management related matters for DoD programs

The following essential job functions are performed as a DOD Supply Chain Manager.

Responsible for the request, receipt, issue, and accountability of individual, organizational, installation, and expendable supplies, tools and equipment. Assists in property accountability. Schedules and performs preventive and organizational maintenance in accordance with government and customer requirements. Carries the custodial responsibility for government and program equipment. Ensure critical assets are on hand or ordered. Monitors all sensitive items, program inventories and audits. Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly reports sent to various leaders. Provides leadership and direction to the Materials and Transportation teams Responsible for all aspects of movement across all manufacturing sites. Provides proactive, outstanding levels of support to all stakeholders in the property asset handling process Promotes a safe work environment by ensuring all safety policies, rules, and government regulations are followed Collaborates with other managers and staff to ensure JI policies, certifications and best practices are adhered to Communicates and coordinates closely with the Operations, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to meet organizational goals Performs other duties as assigned Behavior: The candidate must work well under pressure, meeting and completing multiple deadlines. The candidate shall, at all times, demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors Being at work on time and maintaining good attendance is a condition of employment and is an essential function of the job

QUALIFICATIONS

Must hold an active DOD Security Clearance

PROOF OF U.S. PERSON STATUS REQUIRED DUE TO ACCESS TO SENSITIVE DATA AND OUR COVERAGE UNDER EAR AND ITAR REGULATIONS.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field preferred. Minimum 4 years’ experience as direct support to DoD supply and logistics operations. Strong analytical abilities, with attention to detail.  Solid organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated decision making and problem-solving skills. Willingness and ability to learn, grow, and adapt in a highly energized, fast paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrated drive and commitment to excellence. Comprehensive PC skills, including MS Office (Excel/Access/Word/PowerPoint). Capability to learn and use new systems. APICS or other materials management certification a plus.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION 

Salary range for this role is between $100,000 - $125,000, plus discretionary bonus, 401(k) matching, vacation, and health benefits. Employees can also receive additional pay for off-shifts. The range provided is Janicki’s estimate of the base compensation for this role. Actual amount offered will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, location, education, training, skills, and abilities
