Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager/Management Trainee/Domain Trainee (Linguist), Underwriting Operations (PC)

Responsibilities
• Manage teams of 5-10 and service level targets. Providing guidance to direct reports.
• Monitor, analyses and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers.
• Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client UW and company stakeholders.
• Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks
• Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment
• Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning
• Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a function.
• Root Cause Analysis on escalations received
• Very good problem solving skills attention to detail.
• Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment
• Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Any Graduate
• B1/B2 proficiency in Spanish language
• Fluent in English language - both Written and Oral
• Communication - Good Written and spoken Communication Skills
• Good knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel
• Graduate in any stream except Technical

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Ability to own report development effort with minimal supervision.
• Problem solving; data related troubleshooting such as identifying reconciliation variances, or determining cause of data anomalies.
• Intermediate skills in MS Excel
• Be able to prioritize based on due dates and task demands.
