Responsibilities ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Installation of interconnecting tube and spline assemblies. Be comfortable working out of a manlift, sometimes beyond 120' in height. Installing tube and spline assemblies to construct a dome skeletal frame, which will require balance, restricted movement due to safety tie-offs. Read and interpret measuring tools such as, tape measure, speed square, framing square…etc. In order to perform task accurately. Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams in order to perform tasks accurately. Precisely measuring sheet metal and marking it at the proper places to comply with required specifications. Using cutting tools to prepare sheet metal for use in subsequent steps in manufacturing or as-is installation. Installing metal sheets/siding on structures as required Read and interpret measuring tools such as, tape measure, speed square, framing square…etc. to perform task accurately. The ability to comprehend project plans, drawings, diagrams, and other written instructions to perform tasks accurately. Assist in shake out, assembly, and expedite material and tools as needed. Material control and inventory. On a continual basis, promotes an awareness of environmental, health and safety policies to ensure a safe working environment and ensures compliance with all accompany policies. Attends safety meetings and specialty training as directed by management. Attends various training classes as may be assigned by management. Perform related duties and responsibilities as required. Ability to take needed safety precautions in performing the work. Knowledge of basic rigging safety practices. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Five (5) years of experience in work involving a variety of layout, installation, and maintenance tasks Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations. When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors. Set a personal example of safe behavior.
