Interchangeable Domestic Couple role looking after a beautiful historic property in Augsburg, Germany

Job Summary:   

Domestic Couple role caring for a historic property situated in Augsburg, Germany for a young family of three (two adults and one young child) in full-time residence. The family only occupy a small proportion of the home with the remainder only used when hosting family and close friends approximately 5 times a year. Duties are interchangeable between the couple and focus on day-to-day cleaning, organisation and general maintenance of the property.

Job specification: 

Maintaining the cleanliness of common areas used by the family on a day-to-day basis with periodic cleaning of the rest of the property ready for any guest arrivals Ensuring the home is organised and able to run in an efficient manner Family style cooking for lunch (two principals) and dinner (all three-family member). There are no major dietary requirements in the household Ideally you will be confident cooking for the occasions when guests are in residence Grocery shopping Errands Ad hoc driving Assisting Gardener and maintenance person with any associated duties You will be required to assist on weekends when the client has guests in residence (approximately 5 times a year) and you will receive time back in lieu

Candidate specification:

Proven experience working together in as a Domestic Couple Must have checkable references Both need to be confident undertaking cleaning/housekeeping duties At least one needs to be a confident cook At least one side needs to be a confident driver Experience in large households Child and animal friendly Must be fluent English speakers, benefit if speak German but not mandatory Organised Strong presentation and eye for detail Those with additional gardening skills are desirable

DBS/Police check required at offer stage
