Job Summary:
Busy household of 5 are looking for a hands-on and versatile couple to support them at their family home and farm in Dorset. This is the family’s primary residence, and the children are of school age.
This is a Monday to Friday role working from 08:00 – 18:30, however occasional weekends may be required, plus some ad-hoc babysitting, both discussed and agreed in advance.

Housekeeper
Working alongside another housekeeper, you will be responsible for the cleanliness of the household and splitting the family cooking responsibilities.
Carry out all cleaning duties in the main home and outbuildings Laundry and ironing Household shopping Cooking simple, healthy family meals in the evening, this would be split with the other housekeeper throughout the week Food shopping Mothers help duties such as ordering new school uniform and labelling, washing and preparing kit bags etc Be on hand to assist when entertaining, discussed and agreed in advance. Happy supervising the children (three children aged between 9 – 14) for a brief period in the evenings if the principals go out for dinner for exampleEstate Manager
Working alongside a Gardener, you will carry out hands on maintenance tasks inside the home and within the grounds:
Light and basic woodland management (chainsaw work) Manage property security and be a key holder Organise contractors throughout the household and the plant room Run errands Upkeep of vehicles, cleaning and vehicle checks. Care of swimming pool and tennis court Run errands and perform necessary tasks as required by the Employer or the Family Providing the Employer with a clear monthly budget and expenditure with full accounting records and receiptsCandidate specification:
Ideally looking for a long term role The ideal couple will be a proactive pair who have a good eye for detail, and understand the give and take nature of the role This is a busy family and you need to be comfortable working in a family environment where plans could change last minute. The family are looking for a couple who have a “muck-in” and “can-do” attitude You will need to be good problem solvers and solution focused Ideally you would both be confident drivers Being dog friendly is essential Confident with different fabrics and materials and using the right solutions for cleaning.
