Couple Search in Stockholm - Sweden

We are seeking a Domestic Couple to join a private household in Stockholm, Sweden. As a Domestic Couple, the successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the household, providing exceptional hospitality, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the household. Housekeeping to a 5/6* standard will be the focus of the candidates.  Staff accommodation will be provided and is a of good quality a five minute walk from the house.

There are three Principals including a young child who are usually in residence outside of school holidays when they travel.

Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of the household, including cleaning, laundry, and organization

Light cooking may be requested on occasion

Manage household maintenance and repairs, ensuring that the estate is always in top condition

Driving the principals and coordinating with each other and the team around the movements of the principals

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed as well as shopping to ensure correct suppliers of household goods

Co-ordinate with he House Manager to ensure correct maintenance  personnel are sought or take a hands on approach with manageable maintenance tasks,.

Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to ensure the comfort and satisfaction of the family and guests

Work closely as a team to effectively manage all aspects of the household

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role within a private household or estate

Strong skills in housekeeping, light cooking, and hospitality

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a domestic couple team

Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail

Flexibility to accommodate the needs and schedules of the household based around a 5 day work week

Professional demeanour and strong communication skills

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

As a Domestic Couple, you will start your day by coordinating the daily tasks and responsibilities to ensure the household runs smoothly. The focus of your daily tasks will be around Housekeeping and laundry management. The day to day might sometimes include meal preparation, cleaning, and organising stock in the kitchen. Throughout the day the couple will operate in a friendly but not familiar manner which woudl suit a 5 star hotel, being attentive and welcoming to the daily needs of the family. One member of the team will occasional be asked ot act as a driver for the family or to conduct routine maintenance and repairs. Your day will be dynamic and varied, requiring adaptability and a proactive approach to effectively manage the household and provide exceptional service. The couple will need a professional team approach especially when focusing on the housekeeping standards. You would also be part of a structured team and will report to the Executive Housekeeper.

Salary: €5,500 Net per month
