Applied Materials’ is searching for an intern to join our team! The intern will work part-time during the school year and full-time over summer breaks. Responsibilities of the intern will include the following:

Perform research and calculations required to complete a variety of tax compliance, planning and forecasting dutiesAssist the Tax department in preparation of sales tax, property tax, federal and state income tax and international transfer pricing calculationsProvide audit support and project support as neededA candidate will possess strong written and verbal skills, and be proficient in Excel and Word

Requirements

Student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldSophomore candidates preferredStudent must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scaleQuick learner

Compensation$22 - 25 per hourThe rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
