Donor Relations Officer
Habitat for Humanity International is seeking a dedicated Donor Relations Officer to join our small and experienced team in Bratislava, helping us to build relationships with international corporate donors and foundations.

Please note that this position is for a fixed period of two years with a possibility of prolongation depending on available funding and satisfaction from both sides. There is a possibility of 5 % of traveling after the 1st year.

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package.
The monthly gross pay starts at 1 540 EUR / month (based on previous experience + benefits).

What would be your tasks?

Donor stewardship: Provide support with building and maintaining strong relationships with our valued donors.Assist with an active portfolio of grants/partnerships, including working with global network of Habitat National Organizations.Coordination and administration of the funding coming from outside of the region (mainly USA). Administration and coordination of the reporting of active partnerships
Support fundraising: Support donor-facing fundraisers in raising over $12M annually for Habitat’s charitable and development projects in 70+ countries.Assist our fundraising team in development of proposals, grant applications, presentations and project information.Conduct research to identify new corporate donors and funding opportunities that align with Habitat’s mission.Draft PowerPoint presentations for meetings.

Donor Relations Officer at Habitat for Humanity is right for you if you are/have:Fluent in English and able communicate professionally: You will be daily in touch with number of colleagues from different corners of the world.Minimum 1 year of working experience and willingness to learn: Any experience in fundraising, account management or global environment in NGO or corporate is a plus but not necessary. We can teach you everything, we just need you to be open-minded and eager to learn.Proactive attitude: You are curious, not afraid to ask questions and look for information proactively. You will have our support and become more independent in the role with time.Effective Communicator: You are able to clarify information and follow-up with your counterparts to move things forward.Understand the importance of building relationships: You are approachable, responsive and coherent while communicating with diverse groups of people.Proficient in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, cloud solutions (such as Teams and Google Drive), and shared drives.Bachelor’s Degree in any field.We also expect you to be:
