Job Description Job Summary: To create an inviting sense of arrival by assisting arriving guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally at all times. Assist departing guests and thank them for staying. Continually maintain Rosewood high standards of hospitality. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.Provides our guests 5-star luxury customer service thriving to go the extra mile at all times.Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use the equipment only as intended.Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.Maintain knowledge of:Scheduled daily activities.Daily arrivals/departures.Features and services provided by the hotel.Hours of operation for each outlet.Assist guests and visitors into and out of their vehicles.Greet arriving guests/visitors; bid farewell to departing guests/visitors and invite them to return.Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors.Assist guests with loading/unloading luggage into and out of their vehicles.Provide eligible claim tickets to guests for their luggage.Assure safety and security of all guest luggage.Open hotel doors for guests/visitors.Transport guest luggage from the hotel entrance area to the designated luggage area.Provide guests with directions to the Front Desk check-in area.Relay accurate directions to guests/visitors on inquiries regarding destinations within the local area.Maintain accurate knowledge of local attractions and activities to recommend for guest inquiries.Secure taxis/transportation for guests/visitors.Monitor and direct traffic activity of taxis, limousines, and hotel/restaurant guests' vehicles, ensuring a smooth and efficient flow.Ensure that all driveways are kept clear; that vehicles are not parked or left standing in illegal spaces.Direct and supervise Car Valets and Drivers in transporting vehicles between hotel entrance and parking facility.Remain in assigned postposition, maintaining correct stance.Follow Forbes and LQA standards.Ensure all entrances are manned according to operation needs.Standard Responsibilities:Comply and adhere to the Rosewood company policies.Take on other tasks in addition to the ones stated, in a reasonable framework.Be a “brand ambassador” at all times and ensure brand integrity and clarity are always maintained.Model the company’s culture, vision, mission and core values at all times. Confidentiality:Whilst working for the company there will be access to a wide variety of confidential information concerning the company, guests and associates. It is vital that all such information remains confidential and must not be disclosed to anyone outside the company, guests and associates, unless otherwise stated.Health & Safety:Be aware of and comply with safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety rules, regulations, and procedures as applicable to your place of work. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your workplace.The wearing of appropriate protective clothing provided by or recommended by the Company will be obligatory.Report any defects in the building, plant or equipment according to hotel procedure.Ensure that any accidents to associates, guests or visitors are reported immediately in accordance with correct procedures.Attend Fire, Health & Safety training and be fully conversant with and abide by all rules concerning Fire, Health & Safety.Be fully conversant with:RegulationsRisk Assessments for your departmentHotel Fire & Bomb ProceduresOther:The above description is not to be regarded as exhaustive.
