The Opportunity:  

We are seeking a Door Attendant, an exciting opportunity to be part of Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville! 

 

As the first welcoming face of the Hotel, this individual is cordial and professional, able to make quick rapport with guests and residents. Quick to answer guest inquiries and provide knowledgeable resource of the surrounding area as well as the Hotel. 

 

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): 

Greet guests at the Hotel’s front drive upon arrival and departure 

Unloads guest luggage from car, tags and issues claim tickets to the guest. Escorts hotel guests to the Front Desk for check-in. Transfers luggage to the Bell Staff. 

Assist guests as necessary with travel arrangements 

Retain exceptional knowledge of hotel services and amenities offered 

Ensure each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile 

Assures the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to the appropriate positions and directing valet parkers to park cars. 

Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions. Hails taxis as needed.  Loads luggage in car for departing guests. 

Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; resolves customer complaints, assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, etc. 

 

Preferred Qualifications and Skills: 

 

Prior experience working in Resort Guest Services 

A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers. 

Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities and adjust to changing conditions. 

High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team. 

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and push carts of up to 200 lbs
