The ideal candidate for this role is someone with door greeter and/or traffic control experience at a luxury residential property. A person who enjoys meeting new people and creating a welcoming environment. Knowledge of valet parking operations is a plus!

Position Description:
The purpose of the position is to promote an exceptional service experience at the luxury property while ensuring the safety of the building by monitoring the traffic flow of residents, visitors, guests and building activities. The associate will be responsible for opening building and vehicle doors, greeting, promoting a welcoming environment and safe traffic flow of the operation.
Responsibilities:
+ Associate must have a pleasant and professional demeanor: ability to graciously interact with residents, guests, building vendors, and building management.
+ Associate must have interpersonal skills like learning resident names and anticipating their needs.
+ Open building and vehicle doors for anyone entering or exiting the building.
+ APC Door Greeter must work in conjunction with valet parking associates with maneuvering vehicles.
Requirements:
+ High School diploma.
+ Customer service.
+ Valid Driver’s License.
+ Adhere to APC location site Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
+ Clear communication skills.
+ Ability to think preemptively and appropriately provide preemptive service.
+ Well-groomed professional appearance.
+ Flexible schedule; ability to provide coverage when needed.
+ Ability to work in all weather conditions outdoors.
+ Must be able to stand, sit, walk and run for long periods throughout assigned shift.
+ Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
+ Physical demands described in this job description must be met to perform essential job functions.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience:
+ 1 year of high-end residential or hotel experience as Bellman, Porter, Door Attendant, Greeter, Server, Host, Traffic Control, Valet Associate.
+ Shift leader, Supervisor, Manager or Leadership positions in industries such as luxury, residential buildings, retail, warehouse, security, hotel, hospitality, restaurant, porters.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Evening and weekends. Schedule can be altered based on company needs.
