About Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort
Join the team at this vibrant, retro hotel inspired by iconic Florida beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s.
Responsible for the training, team member well-being, scheduling, supervision and ensure successful compliance in all aspects of the Guest Services operation. Supervises the continued development of hotel’s relationship with Front Door Services provider ensuring adherence to all Loews Standards and Practices. Ensures provision of accurate and up to date hotel and area information by Guest Services Team. Welcomes guests to the resort and controls traffic flow on the front drive. Informs guests of self-parking procedures and/or any temporary parking guidelines as necessary. Coordinates taxi cab usage on the front drive. Maintain luggage service desk, assisting guests with storage of luggage in the bell closet, provides travel directions and assists guests as needed.

Provides leadership, assistance and supervision to Guest Service team membersProvide coaching and development for Guest Service team membersComplete the weekly Luggage team member scheduleHigh visibility interaction with all team members and guest on a continuous basis to provide assistance and ensure satisfactionManage the package procedure and ensure all packages are successfully logged in/outEnsures proper and safe traffic flowWelcomes guests to the Hotel Provides parking information to guestsStores luggage for guests when guestrooms are not ready upon arrivalHandles guest inquiries professionally and with the utmost courtesy and accuracyProvides guests with Hotel and surrounding area information and travel directionsSummons taxis for outbound guests and provides information regarding other transportation optionsBecomes familiar with guest names and acknowledges guests by nameMaintains the cleanliness of Hotel front entrance area, immediately picking up any trash or debris, contacting Housekeeping for major cleaning tasksProvide detailed information about hotel facilities and operating hours.Is alert to guests who appear to be intoxicated and intend to drive a vehicle – notifies Security department immediately for assistanceAssists Security when a Code Red takes placeAnswers telephone calls in a professional manner consistent with Star Service StandardsEnsures that deliveries of Hotel supplies and large cargo are made at the loading dock, NOT through the front doorAssists front desk in coordinating room movesMay perform the duties of resort shuttle driverMaintain log and maintenance of resort vehiclesMaintain inventory and maintenance of bell carts on propertyOther duties as assignedSupportive Functions and Responsibilities
