**Job Title: Door Installer** **Job Description** We are looking to hire automatic operator installers who will be responsible for installing automatic swing and sliding doors, sensors, open and close features, automatic door operators, electric strikes, mag locks, and card readers. The job requires reading and following step-by-step instructions to ensure proper installation. This role involves lifting heavy doors, so candidates must be comfortable lifting 50 lbs repetitively. **Responsibilities** + Install automatic swing and sliding doors, sensors, and associated hardware. + Follow step-by-step instructions for the installation of door operators, electric strikes, mag locks, and card readers. + Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. + Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards. + Navigate and use iPads for installation instructions and documentation. + Perform basic electrical wiring tasks related to door installations. + Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of experience installing automatic doors (overhead or swing). + Ability to safely operate power tools. + Comfortable working with electrical wiring. + Proficient in reading and following installation instructions. + Attention to detail. + Problem-solving skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with hand tools, construction, power tools, and control systems. + Knowledge of blueprints and low voltage control systems. + Must have basic tools from the provided tool list. + Ability to wear PPE at all times, including a hard hat, steel-toe boots, high-visibility clothing, gloves, clear glasses, and a lanyard for the hard hat. + Physical ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively. **Why Work Here?** We offer the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance, a comprehensive pension plan, RRSP matching, full benefits, and the possibility of a company-provided van. **Work Environment** The work schedule is Monday to Friday with potential for overtime and 12 hour days when needed for production.
