We are seeking someone who has a passion for providing outstanding guest service to work as the Doorperson, to be the first person to greet and welcome all guests entering the hotel.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Will act as the first point of contact with the guest. Will greet the guest in a professional courteous manner. Will assist the guest by opening the car door and helping to carry the luggage into the hotel. Will also hail a cab for the guest when leaving the hotel. May also act as the concierge when necessary. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Friendly smile, professional appearance; Experience in the hospitality industry preferred; Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds; Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions

Will be standing, walking, pushing and pulling carts, and lifting luggage.

Physical Requirements

Exert physical effort in transporting 50 pounds Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas Reach 6 feet Remain in stationary position for 1 hour throughout work shift Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
