Located adjacent to Darling Harbour in Sydney's Central Business District (CBD), Hyatt Regency Sydney is a haven of relaxation for the business or leisure traveller. As Sydney's largest premium hotel, the hotel boasts 878 guestrooms, multiple dining experiences and event spaces. The hotel offers more than 3,700 sq m of sleek meeting and event space in the heart of the city featuring two spacious ballrooms with views of Darling Harbour and 22 additional meeting rooms.

The Role:
As the Commissionaire, you will play key role in the operations of our Hotel. Supervising the porte-cochère, you will manage the flow of traffic into the driveway and work collaboratively with the Bell Attendants to load/unload guest luggage. With a warm and professional manner, you will provide exceptional guest service greeting and farewelling all guests and visitors.

Responsibilities Include:

Managing the porte-cochère, directing traffic and ensuring smooth and safe flowMaintaining the cleanliness of the porte-cochère and work environmentAssist in the loading and unloading of guest luggageArrange and call taxi’s for departing guests and visitorsCoordinating and demonstrating knowledge of guest arrivals and departures including functions, group movements and VIPsSupporting the Bell Concierge servicesHolding strong knowledge of the Hotel outlets and facilitiesHolding strong knowledge of the local area including attractions, entertainment venues and transportation

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

Experience in an elevated service environmentStrong verbal communication skillsExcellent grooming and personal presentationUnrestricted, valid Australian working rightsAvailability to work a rotating roster
