What we want
Instructs, monitors and directs campers ages 6-18 in the marine sciences fields. Ensures compliance with all safety rules and regulations. Responsible for teaching students in a variety of settings including canters, whole group instruction and field activities. May be required to drive a University vehicle for various purposes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ Experience leading, directing, or advising children aged 6-18 years old.
+ Knowledge of natural history, biology, ecology, and related fields
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
+ Desire and ability to work with children outdoors in varied conditions.
+ Ability to communicate and work with groups participating (age and skill levels) and provide necessary instruction to campers.
+ Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Master’s degree
+ First Aid CPR; Driver’s License
+ Previous Sea Camp experience
Essential Duties/Tasks:
SUMMER SEA CAMP INSTRUCTION/GUIDE
+ Guides the Summer Camp Outreach Programs to people of all ages.
+ Sea Camp -- a week-long residential adventure exploring the wonders of the marine and estuarine environments for campers ages 10-18
+ Sea Campus Kids -- a marine oriented day program for campers ages 6-11
SAFETY AND OTHER
+ Ensures compliance with all safety rules and regulations.
+ Responsible for teaching students in a variety of settings including canters, whole group instruction and field activities.
+ May be required to drive a University vehicle for various purposes.
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Additional Information
+ May be required to drive a golf cart or other University vehicle as a part of duty assignment.
+ Requires working in both indoor and outdoor environments with groups of children.
