**Job Summary:** Under minimal direction or supervision, measures and generates radiation dose distribution and calculations according to physician prescription. **Responsibilities:** + Performs all of the duties of Dosimetrist I or II. + Designs optimal external beam treatment plans for cases of all complexity levels while maintaining accepted tolerance doses on all critical structures in the treatment volume. + Maximizes use of the CT, MRI, or TPS for two or three-dimensional isodose and IMRT treatment planning plans. + Utilizes CT-aided beam’s eye view capabilities to assist the physician in designing treatment portals. + Utilizes specialized dosimetry methods for verification of radiation doses delivered with calculated doses in certain clinical problems. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Science or completion of at least two years of formal training in Radiologic Technology with ARRT certification. + Certified Medical Dosimetrist.
