SUMMARY OF THE ROLE DOT Compliance and Fleet Manager for heavylift and transport projects Working at Rosharon, TX Travel to US branch locations: < 10% The DOT Compliance and Fleet Manager will work closely with the Director of Resources and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of development, implementation, standardization, and management of the Transportation Compliance Program for the assigned location(s). Additionally, the DOT Compliance and Fleet Manager will regularly monitor and assist with driver qualification, pre-employment, post-accident, random, and reasonable suspicion drug testing, Hours of Service records and driver training. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING Managing and developing an effective DOT Compliance function Oversee all aspects of development, implementation, standardization, and management of the Transportation Compliance Program for the assigned location(s) ELD experience, preferred Regularly monitor and assist with driver qualification, pre-employment, post-accident, random, and reasonable suspicion drug testing, Hours of Service records and driver training Evaluate and monitor all driver compliance and non-compliance issues, ensuring non-compliance issues are resolved in a timely manner Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, follow-up, and closure of action items Review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) daily, identify and resolve DVIR issues Upholding high safety standards WHAT YOU’LL NEED Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Federal and State trucking regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations Working knowledge of the DOT Letters of Interpretation and other Regulatory Guidance a plus DOT Auditor Certification, preferred Understanding of DQ files and expectation of compliance, preferred through DISA Works English, fluent proficiency verbal and written 5+ years of relevant work experience Bachelor’s degree, preferred in Occupational Heath & Safety WHAT YOU’LL GET Medical and Dental benefits 401k matching up to 6% Vacation and Sick Education Sponsorship Career Development and Programs Casual Dress WANT TO KNOW MORE?
