This position will report to the Contact Supervisor and be an integral member in ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. _The ideal candidate will:_ + Be able to work night shift. + Be coachable and have experience working in a highly diverse team of ideas and functions. + Have the ability to prioritize safety of self and coworkers. + Have the flexibility to work overtime as assigned for business-critical needs. _Qualifications:_ _Required:_ + High school diploma, GED, or technical (2 yr) degree, required. + Ability to perform basic visual weld inspections. + Ability to read and translate prints, drawings, etc. and interpret codes, procedures, and work instructions. + Have basic math skills to perform measurements. + Must have experience meeting quality specs and standards per design specifications. + Experience utilizing measurement tools (calipers, gauges, etc.) _Preferred:_ + Preferred experience with manual GTAW (TIG Welding) welding with stainless steel or 625 Inconel materials for 3+ years. + Preferred experience with thin materials (0.063”-0.025”). + Preferred experience or previous weld certifications of AWS D17.1 standards. + Preferred experience fitting up, welding joints, and utilizing fixtures to weld. + Preferred experience in troubleshooting joint fit ups, welding issues, etc. About BASF Environmental Catalysts and Metal Solutions Leveraging its deep expertise as the global leader in catalysis and precious metals, BASF Environmental Catalysts and Metal Solutions (ECMS) serves customers in many industries including automotive, aerospace, indoor air quality, semiconductors, and hydrogen economy, and provides full loop services with its precious metals trading and recycling offering.
