Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

Perform lab-scale downstream processing of vaccine products and process intermediatesPerform assays on vaccine products, process intermediates, and related experimental samples using biochemical/analytical testsPrepare solutions/reagentsSet-up process equipment for lab-scale experimentsMaintain records and experimental results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesProven ability to work independently in hands-on laboratory setting

QualificationsBachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)0 – 2 Years of industry experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional InformationPosition is full-time and permanent, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with over time as needed. Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
