Dozer Operator

Essential Responsibilities:

Safely and efficiently operate D9 and D10 track dozers with GPS to meet production targetsConduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and complete daily Field Level Hazard AssessmentsMaintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging any maintenance requirements or concernsComplete production reporting and other necessary documentationCommunicate effectively and professionally with other team members.Lead by example in safety and production, ensuring compliance with all company, client, and legislated safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

Minimum one-year experience of dozer operation in a surface mining environment Knowledge of safe & productive operation of heavy mining equipmentCurrent MSHA p.48 metal/nonmetal certification is an asset, however we can assist with obtaining training if needed

Work Conditions:

This is an on-site positionAbility to work overtime as needed
