Job Summary The Digital Products and Services (DPS) Communications and Culture Specialist assists with shaping, driving and delivering internal communications, culture, and engagement. Assists in creating and delivering content through various communication channels. Ensures communications are timely, consistent, and impactful. Monitors and measures the effectiveness of communication tools, leveraging feedback and data analysis to make informed recommendations for improvement. Recommends new innovative ways to communicate across DPS. Supports collaboration with corporate communications, clinical communications, and other departments across the organization for communication needs. Identifies opportunities to enhance team member engagement to contribute to a remarkable culture. Assists with planning the execution of team member events, team member recognition, optimized learning, communications and tools to drive culture and engagement. Supports integrated culture and engagement strategies to engage, align and inspire team members with Novant Health’s cause and business strategy. Degree in journalism/organizational communication preferred. Graduate Degree preferred. Experience: 3 years Experience in internal communications required. Additional skills required: Behaves in an honest, fair and ethical manner. Shows consistency in words and actions. Models high standards of ethics. Treats others with courtesy, sensitivity and respect. Considers and responds appropriately to the needs and feelings of different people in different situations. Deals effectively with pressure; remains optimistic and persistent, even under adversity. Recovers quickly from setbacks. Possesses excellent organizational and planning skills. Superior time management skills. Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products.
