Job Description
Our Kansas City office is seeking a qualified candidate to join our Architecture and Engineering (A&E) department as a CAD Designer. The candidate will focus on completing lease exhibits, zoning drawings, and construction drawings with a strong emphasis on Civil Design and Site Grading.
ResponsibilitiesComplete drawings based on client requirements, field sketches, photos, and internet map images.Conduct peer reviews of other designers’ drawings as part of the quality control process.Address drawing comments based on redlines from clients, project managers, engineers, and other designers’ peer reviews.Maintain files and materials in an orderly manner, following our standards.Collaborate effectively as a team player.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD.General office skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel.Effective communication and problem-solving skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsCertification in CAD Design or an Associate's degree in CAD Design is ideal.Knowledge of Civil, Steel, or Electrical CAD design is a plus.Work Environment
