Position Summary:
This position provides AutoCAD drafting of master drawings of post construction as-built work, and design drawings and sketches as requested by engineers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Use computer-aided design and drafting software to develop drawings and plans requested by engineers.Meet with engineers to discuss design ideas. Provide general support and expertise as requested.Adhere to Alyeska’s Pipeline and Chugach Alaska Services policies, procedures, regulations, and code of conduct.Other Job Responsibilities:
Other duties as assigned.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Professional Associations):
Mandatory Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.Associate Degree (or higher).Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience working with AutoCAD and Raster images.Two (2) or more years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.Experience with Smart Drawings.Ability to follow and apply drafting standards including understanding of layers, layouts and scaling.Knowledge and experience with raster images.Current Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.Successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.Preferred Requirements
Previous TAPS experience.
