This position will be a **full-time** 12 month contract and **on-site.** **What You'll Do** + Create, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using SolidWorks + Work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into accurate drawings + Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements + Manage and organize drawing files, records, and related documentation in a systematic and accessible manner + Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes + Support design reviews, quality checks, and production processes by providing accurate and timely drawings + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time **What You'll Need** Required: + Proficiency in SolidWorks is required + Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) + Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail + Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team + Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred: + Prior experience in a drafting role, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or marine industries, is a plus + Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing processes is highly desirable **Physical Demands** + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor **Reasonable Accommodation Statement** If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 – 8111. **Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement** It is the policy of CAI not to discriminate against any employee or applicant due to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or being a protected veteran.
