Seeking a Drafter/Designer to join a renowned custom windows and doors company in Fife, WA!

Job Description

You will develop engineering drawings, location support drawings, and sales support drawings.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create and maintain detailed designs with 2D and 3D CAD software in accordance with drawing standards.Develop Engineering Drawings that document design intent while working directly with the engineers.Develop Location Support Drawings that provide build information to production.Develop Sales Support Drawings that document product information for our customer’s specific orders.Properly file and help maintain the library of drawings in the PDM Vault.

Skills & Qualifications

Solid drafting experience using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to draw the tools.Ability to draw complex assemblies such as dies.Solid knowledge of Excel.Good communicating skillsExperience working in a team, as part of a team on large projects.Experience working in manufacturing environment. Being able to work at least 25% of the work time on the shop floor assisting process specialists.
