Job Title: Drafter/Designer
Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Drafter/Designer to create, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into accurate drawings. You will ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements, while managing and organizing drawing files, records, and related documentation systematically. The role also involves participating in team meetings, contributing to problem-solving and decision-making processes, supporting design reviews, quality checks, and production processes by providing accurate and timely drawings. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time is crucial.

ResponsibilitiesCreate, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings and schematics using SolidWorks.Work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate concepts into accurate drawings.Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, company guidelines, and project requirements.Manage and organize drawing files, records, and related documentation in a systematic and accessible manner.Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving and decision-making processes.Support design reviews, quality checks, and production processes by providing accurate and timely drawings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time.Essential SkillsProficiency in SolidWorks.Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrior experience in a drafting role, preferably within the aerospace, defense, or marine industries, is a plus.Familiarity with engineering and manufacturing processes is highly desirable.Work Environment

This position operates on a 1st shift schedule and offers a 100% onsite work environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
