Our client is seeking a skilled Drafter II to join their team on a full-time contract basis for 12 months, with possibility of extension, in Ponca City, Oklahoma. As a Drafter II, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the success of their projects.

Role Overview

Collaborate with Designers and Engineers to create accurate and detailed P&ID's using AutoCAD. Support Document Control by picking up redlines from MOCs and incorporating them into drawings. Perform general AutoCAD work for the Design Team. Ensure compliance with drafting standards, methods, and practices. Set up CAD environment, including libraries and layers. Create project drawings, including schematics, isometrics, building layouts, and more. Function as part of a project team and work under the direction of Engineers and Designers. Perform field walk downs and interact with a diverse work group. Work 8 hours a day, Monday-Friday with possible overtime.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic computer/PC skills. Familiarity with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of Process & Instrumentation Symbology. Ability to function with little supervision and excellent communication skills. Ability to work safely in an office and refinery environment. Experience using Falcon and SAP is a plus.

Education & Experience

1-5 years of experience in drafting or similar capacity. Associate Degree in Design, Drafting, Engineer Tech or related field preferred. Experience in refining, petro-chemical, or similar industry preferred.
