Summary: Seeking a Drafting Manager to oversee drafting and documentation functions for custom bulk material conveyance equipment design, utilizing Solidworks and managing a team.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience

Demonstrated leadership and strategic planning skills

Proficiency in Solidworks design tools, Driveworks, PDM

Management experience or desire to become a supervisor/manager of technical personnel

Strong sense of time management and prioritization

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in design control management

Knowledge of calculating structural loads and equipment support

Familiarity with CEMA standards (Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association)

Experience with software implementation and process design

Responsibilities:

Schedule drawing completions per customer contracts or purchase orders

Communicate with customers or their engineering firms for approval of designs

Collaborate with CSC Operations to transfer engineering packages for production planning

Develop and implement new standards to improve turnaround times for engineering packages

Utilize Solidworks to enhance performance in standards, throughput, and data integration into CSC business systems

Report project schedules regularly to CSC management

Communicate installation and maintenance issues with customers' management or installation companies

Maintain excellence in drawing/documentation practices, including project analysis and report generation

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
