Continuous Improvement Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist engineering teams in preparing drawings of medium and high complexity using CAD (Computer Aided Design) system. Each day, you will provide technical assistance to other colleagues in the team. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering on the agreed timeline, cost estimate, and set quality standards.The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in North Carolina. You will be mainly accountable for:•\tPreparing engineering drawings using CAD system.•\tSupporting in the preparation of specific aspects of drafting assignments to meet contractual obligations while adhering to safety, cybersecurity, and quality.•\tUpdating the engineering deliverables as built.•\tEnsuring accurate application and implementation of standard processes and tools in preparing accurate drawings, while also reporting process and tool inefficiencies and suggesting ideas for improvement.Our team dynamicsYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive!

Qualifications for the role

At least 5 years of experience in design of mechanical devices, fixtures, layout, working cells.Sound knowledge on Lean Manufacturing, 3D printing.Experience working with CAD software (Autocad, Solidworks, others).Fluency in English.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
