Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Drafting Team Lead to oversee our drafting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and design, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work. You will be responsible for guiding a team of drafters, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the drafting team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.Review and approve drafting work for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to industry standards.Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.Develop and maintain drafting standards and procedures to improve efficiency and quality.Manage project timelines and resources, ensuring that deadlines are met.Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project updates, challenges, and performance.Mentor junior drafters, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in drafting technologies and software.Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations as needed.

Qualifications:

Knowledge in Drafting, Engineering, Verizon or a related field.Minimum [2] years of experience in drafting, with at least [2] years in a leadership or supervisory role.Proficient in CAD softwareStrong understanding of drafting standards and practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
