The Draw Studio Content Production Specialist manages the day-to-day operations of the daily drawings and draw studios. This role also supports all aspects of the preparation, presentation, and production of the Lottery’s live and pre-taped events, games, and web shows. Additionally, the specialist will provide production support for the creation of in-house video and marketing content.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSLottery drawings:Support the Draw Studio Content Production Manager in the execution of the live presentation of the Lottery’s daily drawings in accordance with official rules and procedures, upholding the integrity of the Lottery’s drawing process.In the absence of the Drawing Studio Content Production Manager, oversee the Lottery drawings in strict accordance with the official rules and procedures.Assist in the maintenance of all official documentation pertaining to the results of the Lottery drawings results.Participate in the creation of video recordings of drawings for immediate distribution.Support the day-to-day operations and needs of the drawing studios, including equipment testing and maintenance.Support the Drawing Studio Content Production Manager in the recruitment, scheduling, and training of drawing staff.Report any incidents that may occur during the drawing to the appropriate parties.Must be prepared to report to work under all weather conditions; drawings are conducted every day of the year, regardless of weather.
Game Show and Event Productions:Assist in the development and production of Lottery game shows, including game functionality, prize structures, and creative elements.Responsible for all technical support - setup, operation, and breakdown - for all Lottery game show and event productions, ensuring the capability to multi-cast on Lottery-owned channels.Possess a thorough understanding of the complete studio and remote production process, including operation of cameras, audio, lighting, and streaming equipment.Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of video switchers and serve as the technical director for all Lottery game shows.
Content Production:Serve as a production assistant for the creation of marketing video content and large-scale productions, supporting roles such as camera operation, lighting and grip, audio, and set-up/breakdown of sets.Assist with all aspects of the post-production process, including editing, color correction, audio design, and mixing.
This position is 100% in-person. The work schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday: 11:30am-9:30pm and Friday: 12:00pm-9:30pm.

For external applicants who are not current employees of the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission (MSLC), the non-negotiable starting salary for this position is $78,874.21 (Job Grade 23/Step 1).
For current MSLC union employees, the starting salary for this position will be calculated using union promotional rules.
NOTE: Per the bargaining unit contract, the salary for this position will increase by 2% effective January 11, 2026.
