Job Summary:
The Drayage Accounting Representative is responsible for handling the day in and day out accounting related responsibilities for the drayage business within Cardinal Logistics. This individual will be key to the success of the drayage team. They will assist in 3 major areas of focus: Invoicing of the customer, payment for carriers, and overseeing of drayage financial auditing to ensure that all loads are being correctly handled on both sides of the business. This individuals success will allow for the drayage execution team to focus on its core competencies and there in ensuring the growth and success of the business unit.
This individual will report to the Director of Accounting – Brokerage
Essential Functions:
Responsible for processing carrier paperwork and auditing drayage loads, including revising rate confirmations and updating TMS. Oversee drayage accounting issues, disputes, and claims. Prepare pay status requests for carriers. Handle advancing funds and properly documenting for reporting purposes. Handle TRAC and other chassis provider auditing and disputes. Answer emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Other duties may be assigned.
